What is ContractMaster?
The first step to effectively managing payer and network agreements is to create an overview of your current contracts’ status. All necessary contract information should be captured in one succinct file that is easily monitored and manageable.
ContractMaster is the answer to the challenge of keeping the status of all your contracts at your fingertips. The simple Microsoft Excel tool prompts you to populate the key contract information in the spreadsheets including:
- Payer/Network name
- Anniversary
- Term and termination provisions
- Notice party and address
- Representative’s name and contact information
ContractMaster will alert you when contracts are within 120 and 60 days of their anniversary dates giving you sufficient time to review the old agreement which can also be attached to the file via a pdf.
The cost for the tool alone is about $75.00 if you populate it yourself.
ContractMaster Tool Population
If your practice is like most practices you might find your contracts and collect them into a tidy file… but finding the time to pull the essential information from each one, just never makes it to the top of the day’s “to do” list. No problem. You can make a copy or scan your old agreements and send them to Health Business Navigators. We will populate your ContractMaster for you with key information from all of the payer agreements you’ve provided and return a tool back to you that allows you to start developing your payer contracting strategy.
The cost is $125 per contract including the attachment of old agreements to your ContractMaster.
If you have HBN populate at least 5 contracts, the tool itself is free.
If your old agreements are missing key information such as the current reimbursement exhibit, then, for a reasonable charge, HBN can help you to track it down. We can share ways that you can search on your own or you can delegate the entire process to HBN, your choice.
