Note: Health Business Navigators is based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Although most positions would require that candidates work in the corporate office, there are some positions that may be conducive to a candidate’s home office. Compensation varies depending on candidate’s experience and position responsibilities. 

THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN

  • Corporate & Field Support Coordinator
    Strong administrative and communication skills are needed in this multi-task position. Among the responsibilities are directing calls to the correct party, invoice coordination and AR posting, some HR functions, coordinating IT needs for home office and field staff, managing mail, special projects, and supporting other staff with their projects and assignments. Microsoft Office Word and Excel experience required. Prefer college degree or at least 3 years of experience in similar role. Reports to company president and supports all corporate and field staff. Will train candidates with minimum education or work experience. Position is located is Bowling Green, KY.
  • Payer Contracting Specialist & Negotiator
    Candidates with a degree in law preferred, however, bachelor degrees in computer analytics/sciences, health care majors and other majors requiring the skills indicated below will be strongly considered. Experience in negotiating with payers or being a payer contracting representative previously is helpful, however, HBN will train candidates with the necessary base skills.  Strong writing skills, computer skills and use of MS Word, Access and/or Excel critical. Analytical thinking and problem solving related to math or complex concepts a must. Position is located is Bowling Green, KY.
  • Internship 
    This paid internship will provide students with the opportunity to be exposed to a fast paced, highly ethical business environment and assignments that should benefit both the student and HBN.  The internship involves oversight, exposure and assignments related to our Payer Contract Navigation Specialists and Negotiators and/or Credentialing Specialists. We are willing to work with students in most majors however a student’s interest in health care, business, analytics, human resources, and administrative support would be key to someone feeling fulfilled and for HBN to put the effort into relationship. Hours would be flexible, but the candidate would need to provide their approximate intended hours in advance so that assignments can be managed properly. Telephonic, computer, oral, and written communication skills are essential. While internships do not guarantee future employment and are not a long-term commitment by either part, strong interns may be considered for full or part time employment upon graduation if they express interest during the internship.
