Payer Policies on Telemedicine Related to COVID-19
Disclaimer: The following list was compiled from internet searches beginning March 17, 2020. This list is intended to make easier a practice’s search for existing or temporary payer policies related to coverage of telemedicine services while Covid 19 restricts access for patients to in-person office visits. HBN has not validated each source, nor does HBN guarantee that all information is accurate. HBN hopes that this compilation assists practices with finding what these new payer policies are so that the provider services claims can be submitted with reasonable hope that services will be reimbursed. In some cases payers are clear that coverage depends on a patients benefit plan, and/ or that these policies are exceptions with limitations on how long they will apply.
